3.It is a good idea to "Shop around for parishes" to find out where you get the most out of your faith; this was accomidated by the church beginning with Vatican II

Vatican II (Part 2)

1.Opportunities were given to the people of the church to express opinions and propose changes.

2.Questions were asked, such as the reconsideration of permitting birth-control.

3.Changes were made to the mass such as the language spoken; from latin to the language spoken by the parishoners.

Vatican II

-Vatican 2 is a meeting with the Bishops of the world to discuss questions that need to be answered in more detail.

-The meeting of bishpos around the world vativcan council helped unify the church give bishpos feedom to express opinions.

-There were tensions in the council between two groups who wanted different things to change or not to change.

2. It is the core decision maker in the Catholic Church.
